Lauren Espin is responsible for developing, leading and implementing communications programs and campaigns that advance Diversity, Equity & Inclusion across Siemens USA. She plays an integral role working with Siemens Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), diversity councils, the newly founded Siemens USA Disability Inclusion Council, and Siemens’ supplier diversity efforts.
Lauren has previously served as the communications business partner for the Siemens Advanta U.S. organization, with ownership to plan, implement and measure communication programs to establish and raise the reputation and profile of the newly created Siemens Advanta business. Additionally, she has partnered with the Siemens USA Cybersecurity team to lead external communications activities.
Prior to that, Lauren served as Head of Communications for Siemens Real Estate’s (SRE) Americas region. In this role, she developed and executed a communication program for SRE and was responsible for all internal and external communication activities for the organization.Com
With over 17 years of experience at Siemens, Lauren has held several communications positions within the company. From several roles with the Siemens Foundation to her time with SRE, she has led successful communication strategies, solved communication challenges and served as a trusted communications business partner.
Prior to joining Siemens, Lauren held communication roles with NBC News New York and several Public Relations firms. She is trilingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese), is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a BA in Communications and an MBA in Marketing, both from Seton Hall University. Lauren resides in northern New Jersey with her husband Sergio and their two little boys.
