Willem Bagchus is a passionate and motivated technology evangelist. He has been a specialist in messaging technologies for over 40 years now. He obtained his degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and holds over 16 industry certifications, including Linux, Microsoft and Novell. He has written articles, blogs, and books, invented products, taught courses, consulted with customers large and small. He owned his own consulting business for 25 years, worked as a sales engineer around the world and now manages the messaging and collaboration services in the financial industry. Willem’s travels have taken him around the world, to major and minor data centers.
In his spare time, he enjoys building guitars, playing hockey, playing in a local rock band and ballroom dancing. Willem is also a seasoned veteran behind the microphone as co-host and director of engineering of the syndicated travel talk show, “Travel World Central”. It’s heard in over 40 markets around the world, now in its 26th year. His ideal vacation spot is anywhere there are palm trees and beaches.
He is a people person and enjoys any activity that places him in contact with customers.
