Speaker

Theresa Fletcher-Brown

Director EEO Compliance Programs, Chicago Transit Authority

Navigating the complexities of an organization’s most valued asset—its people—isn’t just my job, it’s my passion. With 20+ years of experience spanning public transportation and academia, I’ve led cultural transformations that matter. From reducing team attrition to 0% in a historically high-turnover department, to boosting employee climate survey scores and driving 75%+ increases in DEI program engagement, I bring a results-driven approach to building inclusive, high-performing workplaces. Whether spearheading a national ERG event with the National Diversity Council or leading system-wide DEI certification training, I focus on impact that’s both measurable and lasting.

I am a seasoned leadership professional with a proven track record of delivering results in high-impact, complex environments. I bring over a decade of experience guiding teams, shaping strategy, and driving operational excellence grounded in integrity, transparency and trust.

Known for my ability to connect across all levels of an organization, I lead with empathy and clarity, fostering collaboration between frontline teams and executive leadership. My strategic mindset and institutional knowledge allow me to navigate challenges with precision, while my commitment to inclusivity ensures that every voice is valued.

Whether optimizing processes, mentoring emerging leaders, or championing employee engagement, I focus on outcomes that matter because meaningful change begins with trusted leadership.
