Started professional career as a Research Scientist with organizations such as Pfizer, Ciba-Geigy and Novartis, moving into a management role and overseeing a team of scientific professionals.
Co-authored over 15 scientific papers, served on the editorial board of J Chrom/Biomed Appl; and, received a Pioneer in Laboratory Automation award.
Hold a BS degree in Chemistry from Fordham University and studied towards an advanced degree in Biochemistry at the University of Rhode Island.
