Fred Kuebler is a seasoned global leader with over 25 years of experience in leadership, internal and external communications, media relations, social media, and publishing.
In December 2020, Fred joined Takeda as the Associate Director and Communications/Change Management Lead - Global Real Estate, Facilities, and Procurement. In this role, he co-leads the development and implementation of the GREFP communications strategy and leads the delivery of operational communications. He is also responsible for developing and implementing a change management methodology across the function while leading and supporting the creation, preparation, and consolidation of C-Suite level presentations.
Before joining Takeda, Fred worked at Whirlpool Corporation as the head of Global HR Communications. He led numerous senior leadership change communication efforts, executed a communication strategy for implementing a global performance management platform, achieved understanding among nearly 90% of employees in less than 12 months, and created strategic communication plans to activate a global leadership model.
Before joining Whirlpool Corporation, Fred worked as the Director of Integrated Communications at Aflac and as the Director of U.S. Corporate Communications and Media Relations at National Grid, where he developed strategic communications plans to protect and advance brand reputation. In addition, Fred counseled and coached senior leadership on external and internal interactions, managed plans and assignments for crisis communication efforts, and led social media efforts.
Fred began his communications career as a Navy journalist. He advanced to hold various leadership positions, including Chief of Publishing at the Naval Media Center, Public Affairs Officer for the USS Theodore Roosevelt, Deputy Public Affairs Officer for Commander, Second Fleet, and Chief of Community Relations for the U.S. Special Operations Command.
