I am an experienced IT manager with expert level knowledge of Enterprise Search, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), SharePoint, Internet and Intranet Website Development, and Marketing Applications. Currently, I supervise Merck's Enterprise Search and Enterprise SEO team, responsible for delivering search applications across the company for both Intranet and Internet websites, as well as providing SEO capabilities for many Internet websites. I manage an international team with development and support resources spread across the globe in the US, Eastern Europe, and India. Our team works with customers from every division of the company on custom search solutions and SEO, as well as building and operating the primary Enterprise search engine for Merck which handles nearly 2 million queries per year.

Through my career at Merck, I've worked in our Global Human Health areas supporting internal Marketing Applications and Internet Websites as well as our Enterprise Technology and Applications Services area supporting Enterprise applications. I have extensive development experience in VB, PL/SQL, and Java. Most recently, I've been responsible for Enterprise Search, primarily using the Microsoft/FAST Search products from SharePoint 2007/FAST ESP through SharePoint 2016 and Office 365 including Hybrid SharePoint Search.

I have a BS in IT (Information and Decision Systems) from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Lehigh University.
